Protecting Our Community

Bexar County Emergency Services District No. 1 is one of 12 Taxing Districts formed by the citizens that live within the set boundaries of the District in unincorporated Bexar County. The purpose of the District is to collect tax revenue so that it can provide fire suppression and first responder services to the residents that live here. We do this by levying taxes on the citizens and using these funds to contract with the City of Converse Fire Department,

The meetings are scheduled on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. They begin at 5:30 PM. and are held at the ESD No. 1 Office located at 8275 FM 78, Suite 2, Converse, Texas 78109. We encourage you to attend.
